Brief walkthrough
WalkthroughThis book is located in the Benkongerik cave. After reading the book, the hero is transferred to the Apocrypha, to Chapter I. You should get to the book with Chapter II. Here, turning left, the hero will meet a lurker guard. Having defeated him, all that remains is to reach the crossroads. Turning right takes you to Chapter III. Here, a seeker and a volume of the spell: “Call the Seeker” await the hero. By turning left where the quest marker points, the character is teleported through the book to Chapter IV. Moving through this chapter, the hero will find himself in a hall with several seekers. Having found a magic ball on the right side of the hall and activating another ball in the opened room, the hero will open a room with a third magic ball. Thus, having gained access to the previously locked magic ball in the middle of the room, the hero will be able to move on to go to Chapter V. Walking forward without turning, the hero will find himself in the next hall, at the end of which the Black Book is visible. As soon as the hero wants to approach her, the corridor will begin to move to the left. When entering the left room, the hero will encounter an avenger lurker. After fighting him, you just need to go further to find the magic ball. He will open the gate to the main hall. Now, using the “live” corridor, you need to get into the right room. After defeating another lurker-avenger, you should again reach the magic ball and activate it. The path to the Black Book will open. However, if after passing the left corridor you immediately run along the moving corridor, then a bug is possible when the latter stops in the center, immediately opening the path to the book. RewardAfter passing the test of the book, Dovahkiin can choose one of three abilities:
Quest stagesTo go to a specific stage of the quest, enter in the console: Setstage DLC2BlackBook03Quest stage where the stage parameter is a number, the stage of the quest (all stages are listed below).
Note
You will find this book in Benkongerike. A hint where to look for the Black Books can be given by the master wizard Neloth from Tel Mithryn, see the quest Lost Knowledge. If you came here at his prompting, "Untold Legends" will then need to be taken to him (don't worry, he won't take the book, but will only make a copy for himself). Bencongerik The cave is located in the snowy northern part of the island. Population: Rieklings, who apparently killed even the draugr in these ruins. Enter the cave and move forward, destroying the Rieklings and watching your step: the inhabitants have set tripwire traps. The path is linear, just follow the ice tunnels, there is nowhere to turn. When you reach the large hall, pay attention to its far end, where the horn lamps are glowing. Here begins a new area of Benkongerike - the main hall (Benkongerike Great Hall). Once you enter, you will find yourself in a corridor. If you wish, you can hack the door on the left - there is a chest there. Further the path lies to the right and eventually leads to a large hall. Exterminate the inhabitants and inspect the room. On the second tier on the left you will find a box with a pendant of the East Empire Pendant. Then go down and go to the far end of the hall. Here is a standard puzzle for Nordic ruins with images of animals. Correct placement (from left to right): "eagle", "fish", "fish", "snake". Pull the handle on the pedestal and enter the opened gate. In front of you is a Wall with the word from the Scream “Cyclone”. To the left of the Wall of Words there is a passage to the room with the desired Black Book. After reading, you are transported to Apocrypha. Apocrypha The area is not difficult or long. Chapter II near the entrance. Read it, go across the bridge, where one lurker is waiting for you. Further the road forks. To the right is the passage to Chapter III, which, in turn, leads to a room with a spell volume “Conjure Seeker”, a live seeker and a cocoon (Pod) with junk. So, if you already have such a volume, go immediately to the left - to Chapter IV. You will exit into a large hall where a group of seekers have gathered. Deal with them and explore the surrounding area. To advance further, you will need to activate three magic balls (Scrye) in sequence, opening the bars, and go to the far part of the hall, where Chapter V lies behind the gate. In front of you is a corridor, a pair of locked gates on either side, and ahead of you is an inviting copy of the book itself. Don't relax - as soon as you get closer to her, the corridor will turn in a mean way and take you to the room with the lurker. Kill him and exit the side door you saw earlier. Now the path to "Untold Legends" is clear. The first activation will give you the opportunity to choose one of three abilities (described), the second will transfer you back to Solstheim. Bencongerik In the room with the book on the left there is a door - this is a short way out. The Black Book is a special book, quite large in size, which is associated with the Daedric Prince Hermaeus Mora. With the help of the article Where to find Black Books in Skyrim, you will find out what is so unusual about them, and of course, where and how to get them. To access the books you need the Dragonborn add-on, since the books can only be read on Soltsaime (reading in Skyrim will result in the inscription “ A vision of Solstheim floats past your eyes and disappears"). There are 7 books in total, each of them has 3 special active properties. It should be noted that book Awakening Dreams gives a wider range of choices to improve your skills as it ties into the game's main quest. Read the book and the character is immediately transported to Apocrypha. Each of his plans has several chapters that are tied to the book. After completing all the chapters, the hero will be endowed with special, hidden knowledge Hermaeus Mora, which only the smartest seeker receives. Peculiarities
