- Now, my friend, the question is this:

Tell me what they call

The worker that is underground

Are we getting coal? Miner

- Who, where and when first discovered a layer of coal in our region? You should have prepared the answer to this question at home.

(Speech by team representatives)

Coal was found seven versts from the Upper Ostrog in Burnt Mountain. This discovery was of outstanding importance for the future of the native land, but at that time, at the beginning of the 18th century, it did not find practical significance. In Tomsk, several miners - Fyodor Komarov, Stepan Kostylev and Mikhailo Volkov - declare the sovereign's word behind them. After that, they are transported first to Tobolsk, and then to Moscow. In the Preobrazhensky prison, they are being interrogated: “Why did the miners shout the sovereign’s word at the auction?” They replied that they found ore in the Siberian mountains useful for the sovereign. During the interrogation, Volkov was outwardly calm, but everything in him was seething with injustice, he was restrained. After lengthy proceedings (and it came to the king himself), having determined the purity of the metal, the miners were released from guard, given the due reward and encouraged to further detect ores. Volkov was waiting for one thing: “The time when he can redeem his family and become free himself”

Miner Cossack son Mikhailo Volkov in 1721 on the banks of the Tom River discovered a layer of coal in the "burnt mountain". At present, it is located on the territory of the current city of Kemerovo in the Rudnichny district.

Mikhailo Volkov with his comrades Nikita Petrov and the boy Lavrushka experienced many difficulties on their way to the great discovery of coal: they were buried from the Tatars, sailed along the rivers with a stormy current, helped the Shor people in catching fish. Once, while sailing along the Tom, Mikhailo Volkov and his comrades saw a fire in the mountain. The miners were very surprised: “How is it, stone, but it burns?” This fact amazed them. When Mikhailo reached the burning hole in the mountain, it exuded a stinking and suffocating smell. After digging a few stones out of the hole, he went downstairs, lit a fire and threw the stones into it. The searchers were disappointed - the stones did not burn. Realizing that it was ashes, Mikhailo raked a pile of ashes and saw a stone, hitherto unknown to him. This pair of stones was thrown into the fire, and the stones began to catch fire, and then smolder, releasing heat.

The giftedness and sharp observation of the explorer Mikhail Volkov made it possible to recognize “earthly coal” in the burnt rocks. Such a conclusion was beyond the power of many eminent miners and professional researchers of that time. Mikhailo Volkov examined the “burnt mountain” and delivered the discovered coal to Tomsk. Attention was paid to coal, as at that time there was a shortage of fuel. But 100 years have passed since the discovery of coal by a miner and until its use.

The square in the center of Kemerovo bears the name of Mikhailo Volkov. On August 23, 1968, a monument to the brave miner was solemnly unveiled here (the author is the Kemerovo sculptor G.N. Baranov). In Kemerovo, on Krasnaya Gorka, a monument was erected in memory of the dead miners, and in the city center a chapel was erected in memory of the dead miners.

The Kemerovo region is the richest storehouse of minerals. The main wealth of the region is coal. A black piece of coal is a fabulous source of solar heat and light.

Coal is the main solid fuel in Russia. Coal is used for electricity production, metal smelting, and as a raw material for the country's chemical industry.

(This information is given through a slide show with sound recording)

- What interesting things did you take for yourself?

- The team became the best ... (well done to all)

– Many thanks to everyone for participating in the quiz and for preparing

– What new and interesting things did you learn?

Purpose: to form children's pride, interest, respect for the historical past of our country, respect for the traditions of their people.

Introduction.

Russia is the country in which we live. Russia ranks first in terms of territory among all countries of the world (17.1 million sq. km.), And in terms of the number of people living here (144 million people) - only seventh place. People of many nationalities live in Russia: Tatars, Chuvashs, Khakasses, and other peoples. The capital of our Motherland is Moscow.

Listen to a poem by Igor Severyanin.

My great Russia

my sacred country!

Her gusts of snow

Her bursts of fire

Her dreams are advanced

Her writers are alive

Comprehended to the bottom!

Her flights are blue

Her clothes are painted

And our sun and moon!

And her nightingales,

And the triples are madly steppe,

And these harnesses are golden,

And winged tie-downs,

Their necks are swan-like steepness!

And our songs are bursting,

Such Russians, relatives,

And rivers boundless depth.

You are all in this, my Russia,

This poem fits perfectly with the topic of our lesson "My Motherland". It is timed to coincide with the Day of Russia, which our country celebrates on June 12. This holiday is one of the youngest public holidays in the country. The beginning of the movement for Russian sovereignty falls on the 90s of the 20th century. Before this period, our country was called the USSR. In addition to the Russian Federation, it included 14 republics, which are now independent states. But in the 90s, the union broke up, and it was necessary to change the rules of governing the country.

On June 12, 1990, the 1st Congress of People's Deputies of the Russian Federation adoptedDeclaration on the State Sovereignty of Russia. In 1994, this day was declared a public holiday. Formally, this is the most important of the modern public holidays in the country. From this date, one can count the beginning of the formation of a new Russian statehood based on the idea of equality and partnership of the federal republics.

The declaration, adopted on June 12, 1990, has become a symbol of the revival of a renewed Russia. The sovereignty of the Russian Federation was proclaimed in the name of ensuring to every person the inviolable right to life, free development and use of their native language, and to every people - the right to preserve and develop national culture and independence.

State symbols - the coat of arms, the flag and the anthem, adopted in December 2000, signify the independence of Russia and its international recognition.

On June 12, 1990, the first Congress of People's Deputies adopted the Declaration on State Sovereignty (Independence) of Russia, which proclaimed the supremacy of the Constitution of Russia and its laws.
An important milestone in the strengthening of Russian statehood was the adoption of a new name for the country - the Russian Federation (Russia), before that, since 1922, the country was called the USSR - the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. By the way, it was on June 12, in addition to “independence”, that Russia gained its first President as early as in 1991, the first nationwide open presidential elections in the country’s history were held, in which B.N. Yeltsin. It was he who, by his decree in 1994, gave state significance to June 12, and the holiday itself was called the Day of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Russia. Later, for simplicity, it was called Independence Day, then Russia Day.

I admire you brightly flooded with sun
Beyond the lakes are golden fields.
And in the first words forever remains
The land where I grew up is my Russia.

And far from space
And the vastness of the oceans
We are beckoned by their mysterious power,
But Russia is waiting for us, loving and forgiving,
How mothers love their sons.

Chorus:
Russia, we are your children!
Russia - dew on green grass.
Russia, we are your children!
Russia and the sun's rays in the sky.

Let banners fly over the world
And with your proud name Russia
We are all your children, Russia!
And that means we will win.
Chorus

May your springs
Will smell like rain
And the laughter of children will illuminate every day.
May love and kindness be with us in the heart
And the name of the motherland sounds so proudly.
Chorus

Dear colleagues and guests of the portal, I thank you for your attention!
Sincerely, Elena Grigorievna.
