Bile Louise Hay. Mental causes of disease

"I think that healing requires the combined efforts of at least two people. One of them is you."

Louise Hay

Diseases of the knee and hip joints can develop for a variety of reasons. According to the observations of modern scientists, arthrosis of the knee or hip joints often occurs: due to overload of the joints in professional athletes; due to prolonged stress on the joints of the legs in people who are forced to walk long distances; due to overload of the legs in obese people; due to joint injuries or due to their chronic microtrauma; due to inflammation of the joints in arthritis.

Other circumstances leading to arthrosis of the knee and hip joints, are diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, unfavorable heredity, some hormonal changes in the body and certain metabolic disorders.

Until recently, all of the above adverse factors were considered by scientists as the main causes of arthrosis of the knee and hip joints. However, recent discoveries in the field of biochemistry and physiology have forced us to reconsider our views on key aspects of the formation of these diseases. At present, it has become obvious to leading scientists and doctors that one of the main reasons for the development of adverse changes in the joints is the patient's chronic stress state.

You already know that during periods of prolonged stress and prolonged experiences, there is a persistent increase in the level of corticosteroid hormones in the blood. And physiologists and biochemists have recently proven that the excessive release of these hormones into the bloodstream inhibits the production of hyaluronic acid, which is an important component of the joint fluid ("joint lubrication").

And if the joint fluid becomes small, or if it becomes "inferior", the articular cartilage dries up. Cartilage cracks and becomes thinner - arthrosis occurs.

This process is exacerbated by the fact that an excess of “stress” hormones in the blood leads to a decrease in capillary permeability and to a deterioration in blood flow in damaged joints. And the combination of chronic stress with the unfavorable circumstances indicated at the beginning of the chapter (joint overload, traumatization, heredity, etc.) leads to the fact that the articular cartilage is gradually deformed and destroyed.

You can read more about the impact of chronic stress and negative experiences on joint health in special medical reference books. The only thing these handbooks do not mention is exactly what negative emotions lead to damage to the knee and hip joints. Working with such patients for many years, I have identified a number of patterns that I will be happy to share with you.

In particular, I noticed that arthrosis of the hip joints very often very pleasant in communication, nice people who almost never conflict with anyone and rarely express their dissatisfaction with anyone get sick. Outwardly, they look very restrained, calm and friendly. However, strong passions often rage inside them, which do not come out only because of their upbringing or the peculiarities of the “Nordic” character.

Eventually restrained emotions, such as the irritation, frustration (intimate dissatisfaction), anxiety or repressed anger, provoke the release of corticosteroid hormones into the blood and through them act on hyaluronic acid, which, as we have already said, is the most important component of joint lubrication.

In addition, the internal tension of the nervous system, as you and I know, is reflected in the state of the skeletal muscles - their spasm and hypertonicity occur. And since there are especially strong muscles around the hip joints, their spasm leads to the fact that these muscles “clamp” the damaged joint. As a result of prolonged muscle pressure, the clamped hip joint is deformed and destroyed even faster.

Of course, unrestrained, emotional people sometimes also suffer from arthrosis of the hip joints. But, as I mentioned in the second chapter, they get arthrosis more often because of the "brute force" of negative emotions, when a certain emotional "limit" is exceeded. In general, in an emotional person, other organs usually turn out to be weak points - the thyroid gland, heart, stomach, as well as the back and respiratory organs. The hip joints in overly emotional people, with a few exceptions, are almost the last to be damaged. After all, arthrosis of the hip joints, I repeat, is most often a disease of people who are used to restraining and suppressing their emotions.

observation.
When I was abroad, I noticed that in those Western European countries where it is customary to “keep up the mark” and constantly smile, the percentage of people suffering from arthrosis of the hip joints is very high. Apparently, forced to live by high ethical standards, not all people in these countries meet such standards. As a result, not being able to show their weaknesses, forced to smile even when they are in a bad mood and feeling well, some Western Europeans drive themselves into a severe depressive and stressful state. And, as a result, they earn diseases caused by suppressed emotions, including arthrosis of the hip joints.

Natalya Alekseevna, 56 years old, came to me about arthrosis of the hip joints. The experience of the disease by the time of our meeting was about two years. From a conversation with the patient, it turned out that she works as a teacher in elementary grades. A year before the onset of the disease, Natalya Alekseevna went to work in an elite school where the children of "cool" parents study.

In the classroom, these children behave as they want, if they wish, they can, figuratively speaking, "stand on their heads." But Natalya Alekseevna was forced to endure any of their behavior, since the school management strictly forbade them to upset the children or raise their voice at them. Not accustomed to such behavior and arrogance of her students, Natalya Alekseevna was in constant irritation for all three years of work in such an “elite” school, which, over time, as it seems to me, led to the development of arthrosis of her hip joints.

After talking with me and carefully weighing all the pros and cons, Natalya Alekseevna decided to leave the school for "cool" children and returned to her former place of work, to the school where ordinary children study. After the elimination of the chronic irritating factor, the patient's hip joints were put in order with the help of drugs in a very short time (three months).

Case history from the practice of Dr. Evdokimenko.

Sergei Andreevich was one of the few patients of mine who had almost no help from antiarthrotic treatment. The failure of therapy was due to the nature of the man. He repeatedly told me: “Everyone pisses me off - there are so many idiots in the subway and on the street! It makes you want to punch someone in the face!”

For several months of communication, I could not influence Sergei Andreevich. He did not want to change and "re-education" did not succumb in any way. As a result, having not achieved impressive results of treatment, we were forced to end our communication on a minor note. Sergei Andreevich went for an operation to replace the joint.

Case history from the practice of Dr. Evdokimenko.

Ivan Sergeevich came to me about arthrosis of the hip joint. The disease was discovered in a man about 3 years ago and during this time it has developed to the second stage (moderate severity). In a personal conversation, Ivan Sergeevich told me about the alleged causes of the disease.

Fifteen years ago, Ivan Sergeevich married a woman whom he loved, but who, as he understood, did not love him - for his wife, marriage with Ivan Sergeevich was just a way to improve their living conditions. Nevertheless, the wife very quickly gave birth to Ivan Sergeevich's daughter, which made the man even more attached to her.

Loving his wife, Ivan Sergeevich tried for five or seven years to achieve reciprocity. At first, he was convinced that with his sincere love he could win the heart of his wife. Therefore, he spoiled her as best he could, showered her with flowers and gifts, fulfilled her slightest whims. But the wife never reciprocated her husband's love. Her heart remained cold. As a result, several years ago, Ivan Sergeevich lost hope and "broke" from disappointment.

He even survived a heart attack, but, fortunately, was able to quickly recover from it. However, since then, the presence of his wife began to burden and annoy him. Ivan Sergeevich was even ready to leave home, but he was stopped by the thought of his daughter. Besides, there was nowhere to go. And against this background, against the background of disappointment and irritation in relation to his wife, he gradually began to develop coxarthrosis.

Ivan Sergeevich came to me at a stage when non-surgical treatment of the joint is still possible, but requires urgency. Including in the resolution of psychological problems. After several detailed conversations about the "psychology of the disease," Ivan Sergeevich made a decision. In order to save his joint and leg, he nevertheless left the family, rented an apartment on the outskirts of Moscow and began to build his life anew.

Having got rid of daily annoying communication with his wife, the man quickly went on the mend. And although he still limps a little when walking, those severe pains that tormented him before do not bother Ivan Sergeyevich now.

Diseases of the knee joints

Diseases of the knee joints, in addition to physical reasons (which were discussed at the beginning of the chapter) may be the result of prolonged or severe stress, and often occur against the background of difficult experiences. For many people, knee joints begin to hurt after divorces, loss of loved ones, dismissal from work and other blows of fate.

Very often arthrosis of the knee joints occurs in emotionally tired people, whose life as a whole has become "an unbearable burden". I.e those people whose life is hard and bleak. For example, especially often I have to see arthrosis of the knee joints in women of about fifty who are “faint in their eyes”, who have to carry their home, work, children or grandchildren, plus elderly sick parents, and sometimes also a sick husband.

It is clear that such women are not up to the joys of life, they simply do not have enough time for themselves. In the end, the need to “pull the strap” year after year, a life full of only worries, without joy and pleasure, breaks even the most persistent and responsible. From a bleak life, women "emotionally grow old", they walk hard (even when their knees are still healthy), on the legs of such women it is as if "weights hang".

Often, these women stoop from worries, their legs swell and become heavy, blood circulation is disturbed in the legs - severe varicose veins or thrombosis of the vessels of the legs occur. All these problems lead to the fact that gradually the knee joints lose their flexibility and "clamp". The cartilage of the knees, deprived of normal blood supply, loses moisture, dries up and cracks.

As a result, arthrosis of the knee joints develops. Which in such women is difficult to treat, since it is very difficult for these patients to change something in their lives and eliminate the key cause of the disease - emotional fatigue. And if the main cause of the disease is not eliminated, it is unlikely that the disease will go away even after the best treatment.

In my memory, only a few such patients managed, after our conversations about the causes of the disease, to somehow rebuild their way of life, throw off some of their responsibilities and go on the mend. Most of these women, broken by life, even realizing the complexity of their illness, could not turn off their rigidly prescribed life line. And I can’t blame them for this - after all, such an exaggerated sense of duty causes me only sympathy and respect. The only pity is that all these women are deprived of the opportunity to live not only for others, but also for themselves.

In fairness, it must be said that not only women suffer from hyper-responsibility and emotional fatigue. There are also men who have completely devoted all their energies to work or have spent all their life energy in an effort to surround with care and make happy all their loved ones - children, wives, parents, etc. But still, men are less likely to reach breathtaking self-sacrifice. Men almost always have at least a little "joy for themselves, beloved." Perhaps that is why severe forms of arthrosis of the knee joints are somewhat less common in men.

Finally, it's time to talk about another strange circumstance that somehow leads to arthrosis of the knee joints. For reasons I do not understand, the most severe forms of knee damage are often observed in people who are intelligent, but critical or prone to chronic discontent. That is, those who are constantly internally dissatisfied with life, circumstances, people around them or themselves.

Or those who tend to constantly criticize something or someone, including themselves (we are talking, as you understand, not about verbal criticism, but about a state of internal irritation and discontent).

It is even worse if the tendency to criticize is combined with a chronic resentment towards the whole wide world, towards others or close people. And it does not matter whether grievances and criticism are expressed out loud or accumulated inside. The role is played only by the strength of emotions and their duration. The stronger the resentment, dissatisfaction or tendency to criticism and self-criticism is expressed in a person, the more his knees deform over time, the more difficult it is to treat them later.

Why this happens, I don't know. Perhaps, in critical and touchy people, stress hormones are released in increased quantities. But most likely it is a spasm of the anterior muscles of the thigh, which for some reason is more pronounced in such people than in others.

We can detect spasm of the muscles of the anterior surface of the thigh in almost 100% of people suffering from arthrosis of the knee joints. To identify such a spasm is very simple. For example, if a healthy person, lying on his stomach, bends his leg at the knee and tries to pull the heel to the buttock, then this will not cause him any pain. In extreme cases, a healthy person will feel some tension on the front of the thigh.A person whose hamstring muscles are in spasm will most likely not be able (lying on his stomach) to pull his heel to the buttock at all - even if his knees are still healthy. Or such an attempt will cause him severe pain in the muscles along the front of the thigh, a feeling that the muscles will now come off (note that the pain will be felt more strongly not in the knee, but precisely on the front of the thigh).Usually, a spasm of the anterior thigh muscles occurs against the background of protracted experiences or against the background of prolonged nervous tension. For a while, this spasm does not make itself felt at all. But gradually it "pulls" the knees, does not allow them to move easily and freely, increases the risk of meniscus rupture or provokes the development of arthrosis of the knee joints.

Case history from the practice of Dr. Evdokimenko.

At the reception is a very nice woman, Tatyana Georgievna, 49 years old, director of a small production. I am being treated for the initial stage of arthrosis of the knee joints. Arthrosis in a woman, naturally, is combined with a spasm of the anterior thigh muscles. During the conversation, Tatyana Georgievna asks a question:

— Pavel Valerievich, I am familiar with your theory that the knees often hurt in people who are prone to criticism. But I never criticize others and do not take offense at anyone. Here I am engaged in self-criticism, it's true. If somewhere something does not work out or I just make a mistake in something, I constantly gnaw myself. I can then not sleep at night from experiences. All night I toss and turn, I think that it was necessary to do this or that somehow differently. But self-criticism probably doesn't count, does it?

- Self-criticism sometimes destroys even more than the habit of criticizing others. Although the fact that you analyze your mistakes is correct. After all, it's your experience. Only "nibbling" yourself for them is extremely harmful.

- How can I not “bite” myself for mistakes, not think about them?

“You can and should think about them. But don't focus on them. We analyzed the situation, realized our mistake, tried to correct it as much as possible, and moved on. Don't always go back to what's already behind you.

- Thank you Doctor. I understand you and will try to change my attitude to life's problems.

Case history from the practice of Dr. Evdokimenko.

At the reception, Irina Vladimirovna, a very successful business woman, head of a large corporation. She turned to me about rapidly progressing arthrosis of the knee joints. By the time of our meeting, Irina Vladimirovna managed to undergo treatment in several expensive medical centers, but the result was not impressive. The disease continued to progress.

After examining the patient, I was surprised to find an unusually high degree of deformity of the knee joints for a forty-two-year-old woman. Such a deformity is sometimes found in professional athletes who often overload the joints or who have received multiple knee injuries during their sports activities. But Irina Vladimirovna, according to her, did not go in for sports, and she never injured her legs. And in general, her whole being was devoted exclusively to her career. There was no time left even for personal life, and even for sports, even more so.

Given the fact that the entire life of the patient is devoted to a career, I suggested that the source of health problems may also lie in her work. And I decided to talk with Irina Vladimirovna about the difficulties in her professional activities, about relationships with partners and subordinates. Possessing a sharp mind, Irina Vladimirovna immediately caught the train of my thoughts. She told me that she really often has to criticize her subordinates.

“But how can I not do this,” Irina Vladimirovna was indignant. I have to constantly control everything, I can’t even relax. It seems that I pay people a good salary, but, by and large, I have to check everything and redo it myself.

In general, it turned out that Irina Vladimirovna was constantly in a state of nervous tension and in a state of dissatisfaction with her subordinates. I realized that I needed to somehow “switch” the course of her thoughts and help change her attitude towards employees. Then I asked the patient an unexpected question:

- Tell me, Irina Vladimirovna, do your subordinates earn as much as you do?

- No, of course, - Irina Vladimirovna was obviously surprised by the question, - I earn more. Much bigger...

“Suppose, just suppose, that you make a hundred thousand dollars a month. And your subordinates are a thousand. Can you expect them for a thousand to be as smart and enterprising as you are for a hundred thousand? After all, if your subordinates had the same business acumen that you yourself have, then they simply would not work for you. They would have opened their own business long ago and earned a hundred thousand instead of one thousand. So?

- Well, yes ... You are probably right, - Irina Vladimirovna answered after some thought.

“Okay,” I continued. “Now think: if your subordinates are still not as enterprising as you are, they are unlikely to change even from the fact that you will constantly criticize and scold them. And from the fact that you are freaking out, they will not change either.

So should you undermine your own health with unnecessary negative emotions? Take the situation easier: since you are the head of the company, it is you, and not your subordinates, who will have to continue to make all the most important decisions.

Although, of course, you have an alternative way out: you can hire a worthy assistant who, for a good salary, will fully take over your duties. And he will be responsible for everything instead of you.

“Thank you, Pavel Valerievich,” Irina Vladimirovna answered after thinking. - You are probably right. I'll try to take the job a little less seriously. And I will learn to react less painfully to the mistakes of my employees.

In these two cases, both with Irina Vladimirovna and with Tatyana Georgievna, we finally managed to achieve good results. Both women were smart and flexible enough, they were able to restructure their thinking and managed to get rid of at least part of their negative emotions.

Apparently, in this way they managed to reduce the harmful effect of their own criticism on the body. One way or another, but the treatment of their diseased knee joints progressed rapidly. Unlike the situation with another patient, Igor Vasilyevich.

Case history from the practice of Dr. Evdokimenko.

Igor Vasilyevich was treated by me for arthrosis of the knee joints (moderate severity) for three years. Believe me, three years for the treatment of such arthrosis is a long time. I usually get patients with a similar problem in order in about eight to ten meetings spread out over the year. And then I meet with them only to adjust maintenance therapy (about once every six months).

But with Igor Vasilyevich, treatment from the very beginning was very difficult. No matter what we did with him, however, the disease was only slightly pushed back. It's good that we managed to stop the development of the disease a little. Being a maximalist, in another situation I would regard such a result as a failure. But in this case, it could be considered positive, since the disease progressed rapidly before the start of therapy. And yet I wanted to achieve more.

Naturally, talking with Igor Vasilievich for a long time, I could not help but pay attention to his emotional state. In the course of our conversations, I soon developed a clear "psychological map" of the patient.

Igor Vasilyevich was one of the "classic" critics. He criticized everyone - the government, neighbors in the country, wife, children, public transport and the organization of traffic in the city ... It is more difficult to say who the man did not criticize. But most of all, Igor Vasilyevich got it (“behind the eyes”, of course) to the management of the company in which he worked. They are both stupid, and thieves, grabbers, they don’t understand anything about business, they do everything wrong, etc., etc.

Every time the topic of Igor Vasilyevich's work was accidentally raised in our conversation, I was struck by the degree of his aggressive reaction. One day I finally broke down and asked:

- Igor Vasilyevich, if you have such a mediocre stupid management at work, why suffer? We need to change jobs.

- Pavel Valerievich, you understand, I am almost fifty years old. Where will I go? Who will take me to a new job at this age?

“Then open your own business. After all, you are better at organizing a business than your current bosses. It would be possible to make them a good competition, and there, you see, and get around them.

“No, doctor, it’s hard to start a business at fifty. And anyway, it's not for me.

- Well, maybe then you just need to calm down and not pay attention to any mistakes of the leadership? As they say, Caesar's is Caesar's... God be with them, health is more precious.

“But how can I not pay attention to this?! They are idiots! What am I now, not to notice their stupidity?

— Notice, please, just don't take it to heart. After all, your too strong emotions hit both the joints and the vessels. Therefore, the treatment is slower than usual.

“You know what, Pavel Valerievich, I’m already an old man and I’m not going to change. So let's be treated without any of your psychology there ...

Igor Vasilievich is still being treated. And not only with me (I confess, but now I try to communicate with him less often). What had he not tried in the few years that had passed since the memorable conversation; whom he just didn’t visit - luminaries-academicians, healers, folk healers. I spent a lot of money on the latest drugs, on homeopathy and laser-magnetic devices for home use. No use - the condition of the knees does not improve.

It remained the same as it was during our conversation. And I suspect that it will remain so if it does not get worse - because over the years, Igor Vasilyevich's tendency to sweeping criticism, combined with dull irritation to the whole world, has only intensified.

Many diseases of the joints have an unexplained cause, are difficult to treat, and are characterized by frequent relapses. Unfortunately, official medicine does not always take into account the psychological factors that can affect the nature of the disease and its course. Negative experiences are the main cause of joint diseases according to Louise Hay. In her book, she described the psychosomatics of various pathological processes, outlined the relationship between character traits and a tendency to various diseases.

Knowing the psychological causes of diseases and ways to influence them, you can not only speed up recovery, but also restore emotional well-being.

And - these are the most common joint diseases that occur among all age groups of the population. Stiffness of movement and pain are typical manifestations of articular pathology. Violation of the tendon-ligamentous apparatus of the joints equally often occurs in the arms and legs, both small and large joints are affected.

With age, wear and tear of intra-articular cartilage occurs, which is a physiological process. But nowadays, joint degeneration often occurs at a young age, is characterized by rapid progression and can lead to limited ability to work and self-care opportunities.

Reference. Arthritis is an inflammatory disease, accompanied by pain and limited functionality of the joint. Arthrosis is a chronic pathology without obvious signs of inflammation with deformity of the joints and progressive restriction of movements in them.

Such qualities in a person's character as diligence and optimism, the ability to forgive, to love oneself and others, from the point of view of psychosomatics, ensure the health of bones, cartilage, and ligaments.

According to the theory of Louise Hay, a sick ankle joint is a consequence of a guilt complex, lack of flexibility of character and inability to enjoy life.

Affirmation for Ankle Health: “I deserve pleasure, I accept every opportunity to be happy, and I thank life for the ability to enjoy it.”

This is a violation that signals the presence of mental and emotional blockages. The disease of this area is typical for a notorious person with a too serious attitude to life, making high demands on himself and others. Anger, frustration, vindictiveness, a sense of loss of control over the situation are key factors in ankle damage.

Coxarthrosis

In terms of psychosomatics, it develops with a feeling of insecurity, inability to resist life's adversities and move towards the goal, despite difficulties and failures.

Affirmation for Hip Health: "I stand firmly on my feet, with a feeling of lightness and joy, I go forward towards my goal, taking advantage of all opportunities and enjoying personal freedom."

According to Louise Hay, pathology is caused by unwillingness and fear of any changes in life, even if they can give a positive experience.

Affirmation for shoulder health: “Now my life experience is only pleasant and joyful, I gratefully accept all the difficulties, I solve the problems that have arisen for my own benefit.”

The reason is pride and stubbornness, hidden fear and lack of flexibility, unwillingness to forgive yourself and others.

Affirmation for knee health: “I am learning to understand and forgive, I like to give in to my neighbor and feel the ease of forgiveness.”

The connection between diseases and emotions

Pain in the joints, inflammation and swelling of the periarticular tissues, limitation of function and deformity of the joints are caused by a feeling of despair, disappointment, resentment, anger, and indecision.

Why does arthritis and arthrosis develop? According to psychosomatic theories, the following problems lead to these diseases:

  1. Despair, unsatisfying work, a sense of hopelessness contribute to the development of muscle tension and joint stiffness. Internal discomfort leads to gradual destruction of intra-articular structures and limitation of articular function.
  2. Resentment, anger, the desire to take revenge on someone lead to self-destruction. Internal suffering is transformed into joint diseases. Knees, hips, feet begin to ache from dissatisfaction with oneself and the world around.
  3. Frustration, lack of purpose and interest in life contribute to the limitation of movements in the limbs. There is a gradual destruction of the ankle and foot joints, which often leads to clubfoot.
  4. Overly critical of oneself and others. It often gives rise to despair and anger, develops into hatred for an individual subject or oneself. There is an accumulation of negative energy, which reduces immunity. In this case, the feet, ankles, and ankles suffer.

The most detrimental psychosomatic factors of inflammation include rage and fear. Arthritis is a reflection of an internal conflict, a discrepancy between desires and established rules. Flat feet signal fear of the future. Inflammation of the ankle and pain in the legs are a signal of the loss of life guidelines and ideals. Pain in the knees symbolizes the unwillingness to develop, to move on.

Pain in the right knee joint can be interpreted as a result of an inferiority complex, fear of humiliation in society, in the left - as a manifestation of failure in personal life. In psychosomatics, legs are defined as protection and support. Fractures, dislocations and arthrosis are often associated by experts with a turning point in life experienced and an attempt to restore the past.

Conclusion

In the book Heal Your Body, Louise Hay not only compiled a table of diseases and the psychological factors leading to them, but also offered healing affirmations. They are short phrases that consist of words that promote recovery. Affirmations do not have to be memorized, it is more effective to write them yourself, taking into account personal experiences and circumstances.
The purpose of affirmations is to get rid of the psychological cause of joint diseases according to Louise Hay.

Their regular repetition before going to bed and during rest gives a good result, improves the physical and psychological state of the patient, as a result, you can feel the meaning of the proverb - "A good word heals, an evil word cripples."

The idea that every disease has its own psychological and emotional causes arose a very long time ago. The best healers have been talking about this for thousands of years. For many centuries, healers have tried to determine the relationship between the psychological state of the human body and its physical illness.

Louise Hay's unique table of diseases is a real clue that helps to identify the cause on a psychological level and find a short way to eliminate the disease.

When thinking about the health of the body, people often overlook the need to ensure the health of the soul. They forget to ask themselves questions about how pure their thoughts, emotions are, do they live in harmony with themselves? The saying in a healthy body, a healthy mind is not entirely true, because comfort on a psychological level is even more important. These two components that determine the health of the body cannot be considered separately, and only a measured, calm, comfortable life will become the key to physical health.

It is not uncommon for a person with any pathologies to need not so much therapeutic help as psychological. This fact is confirmed by leading medical practitioners. The close correlation in the human body of its physical and psychological health has been proven and officially recognized. The direction of medical psychology considers these aspects within the framework of psychosomatics. The table of psychosomatic diseases was created by a leading specialist and a unique woman, Louise Hay, will help any person to determine the cause of the development of the disease and help themselves.

The table of diseases and their psychosomatic causes by Louise Hay was developed and created by her with a single goal - to help people. This woman can be called a pioneer in the study of the emotional and psychological causes of many pathologies that impair human health.

She had every right to look for such reasons. Her life has been very difficult since early childhood. As a child, she experienced and endured constant abuse. Youth, too, can not be called a simple period in her life. After the forced termination of pregnancy, the doctors informed her of infertility. In the end, Louise Hay left her husband after long years of marriage. In the end, the woman finds out that she has uterine cancer, this news did not strike her, and did not destroy her. During this time, she considered metaphysics, meditated, composed, and then experienced positive affirmations that carry a positive charge.

As a lecturer and consultant, she communicated with many parishioners of the Church of the Science of Mind, and already knew how constant self-doubt and self-doubt, resentment and negative thoughts with a negative charge systematically spoiled her life and affected her physical condition.

Studying information sources, she realized that her illness, uterine cancer, did not arise by chance, there is a reasonable explanation for this:

  1. Oncological disease always devours a person and reflects the inability to let go of an unpleasant situation.
  2. Diseases of the uterus reflect feelings of unrealized oneself as a woman, mother, shore of the family hearth. Often arise against the background of the inability to withstand humiliation from a sexual partner.

Similar descriptions are given in Louise Hay's table of diseases and their underlying causes. Having identified the causes of her own pathology, she found an effective tool for healing - Louise's affirmations. True affirmations helped a woman overcome a serious illness in just 3 months, doctors confirmed this with a medical report. Laboratory studies have shown that the growth of tumor cells is stopped.

This point proves that the psychological causes of disease do exist, and the aspects of emotional and physical health are connected by a dense thread. After that, the psychologist Louise Hay had a goal, she began to share her experience and knowledge with like-minded people who need help and support. Louise Hay reveals the causes of the disease very accurately, and her unique tables of diseases confirm this.

A world famous woman who miraculously found healing travels the world with various lectures. He acquaints his readers and like-minded people with his developments, maintains his personal column in a well-known magazine, and broadcasts on television. A complete table of illnesses by Louise Hay will help a person find an affirmation and get help. Her technique helped many people, they understood themselves, got answers to their questions and healed themselves.

Is it possible to heal?

Her works are constructed in a rather peculiar way, the book begins with a voluminous heading in which Louise considers psychosomatic diseases and their causative factors. She herself understands and tries to explain to her reader that many of the existing reasons that doctors appeal to are outdated.

To comprehend the psychosomatics of Louise Hay is quite difficult for an ordinary person. She tries to explain that people themselves form stereotypes in the following way:

  • recalling childhood psychological trauma;
  • neglecting oneself;
  • living in dislike with oneself;
  • being rejected by society;
  • harboring fear and resentment in my heart.

Louise Hay: "Psychosomatics, the main cause of diseases, and only by revising this aspect can you improve your emotional, psychological and ultimately physical condition."

Treatment and gaining health depends on the desire of the person. The individual must want to help himself first. Louise Hay in the table described the possible causes of the disease and instilled tips, answered questions about how to treat the disease. In order to get rid of the disease, you need to destroy its emotional source. Until the patient finds the right causes of his problems, the disease will not disappear.

Affirmations, according to Hay, are a trigger for change to begin. From that moment on, the person himself takes responsibility for what happens to him.

  1. An affirmation can be taken from the list provided in the Louise Hay table or created personally.
  2. It is important that there is no “not” particle in the text of the scripture. This is an important point, the human subconscious can wrap such an affirmation and give out the opposite effect.
  3. Say the text aloud every day as often as possible.
  4. Hang the affirmation around the house.

You need to work with affirmations as often as possible, this will speed up the process of positive psychological changes.

We work with the table according to the rules!

The table lists the names of diseases in alphabetical order. You need to work with it as follows:

  1. Find the name of the pathology.
  2. To determine the emotional reason, it must not be easy to read, but to fully understand. Without awareness of the effect of treatment will not be
  3. The third column contains a positive affirmation that you need to pronounce until you feel better.
  4. After a short period of time, the first result will be achieved.

PROBLEM

PROBABLE CAUSE

Psychosomatics of Louise Hay about knees tells about the direct interdependence of the state of mind and diseases associated with the legs. The idea that many physical diseases have a well-defined emotional background has been in the minds of people for quite some time. For many years, the most famous healers have talked about this, arguing that all our ailments are directly related to our emotional state. Countless people have tried to find a connection between physical and psychological well-being, and how much a person’s mental well-being affects his health.

Louise Hay's Table of Diseases

Psychosomatics of varicose veins

Louise Hay, an American writer who devoted many works to psychology, often mentioned in her books that it is necessary, first of all, to take care of mental balance in order to prevent physical diseases.

You need to live in harmony with your feelings and emotions, then you can ensure the health of your own body. The writer tells about cases when a person was cured thanks to psychological help, and not because of the competence of experienced doctors.

Therefore, Louise developed and created a table of diseases in order to help people who have physical ailments. Louise Hay was prompted to study this topic by a trouble she faced in her early years, when doctors informed her that she was not able to have children.

After that, the woman devoted her life to metaphysics and meditation, in which she looked for a positive charge of energy, and soon compiled a table, thanks to which a person can find out what exactly could affect the deterioration of his physical health.

Problems with the legs and knee joints - what is the psychological problem

Louise Hay - founder of the psychosomatics of diseases

In addition to Louise Hay, many people who studied the same field as this woman began to notice the relationship of diseases of the legs and other parts of the body with the emotional state of the patient. Louise Hay defines knee pain as follows. The legs are the musculoskeletal mechanism that carries us throughout our lives. Without them, we would not be able to move properly, which means that our existence would not be complete.

With diseases of the knees, Louise Hay argues that in this case a person does not want to go further, that is, he is frozen at some particular moment in life and is unable or unwilling to take the next step towards change. And change itself is movement.

A person at a particular stage of his life simply decides to stop, therefore, he violates the laws of nature that are established on our planet. In the future, this leads to disharmony with the outside world, and the emerging ailment signals this. Pain in the knee joints and in the legs in general is evidence that a person urgently needs to overcome himself and see that the coming changes will only improve his life.

Louise Hay studied knee diseases very carefully. The appearance of physical abnormalities in the legs, according to the woman, is a rejection of the need to move on, or the inability to choose a specific direction and follow it. For example, the appearance of varicose veins on the legs often indicates that a person hates the house in which he lives, or the work where he is forced to go every day.

What does knee pain mean from a psychological point of view

Pain in the knee joints

Knee pain indicates emotional blockage. That is, this indicates a lack of flexibility in relation to what awaits a person in the future. As a rule, such pains bother people full of vain motives or overly stubborn, and often it borders on pride. And as we can remember, pride is generally considered a mortal sin, therefore, from a psychological point of view, such life attitudes have a particularly destructive effect on our physical body.

Such a person needs to listen more often to the advice of other people, especially if they are quite close to him, and also to correctly perceive the ideas that come to him from the outside.

In fact, by acting on the contrary, a person deprives himself of the opportunity to look at some things or a situation from different angles, as he believes that he himself is able to find easier and shorter ways to secure his future. Often this leads to the appearance of arthrosis or gonarthrosis.

In addition to the emotional blockage, there is also a mental block involved in the ailments associated with knee pain. From this point of view, the body reminds a person that he lacks flexibility, that is, the skills to adapt to the environment, as well as the ability to make concessions. Pain in the knee tries to warn that the person cannot really understand. This is evidence of an unwillingness to change.

As the famous saying goes, "A fool is he who does not change his mind." In this case, it reflects the very essence of the nature of this disease. At the same time, a person not only does not want to change his own attitude to life, but also remains indifferent to the future of other people. The reason for this is the fear that he will thus lose control of himself and lose the core that has held him all this time. Then a person needs to remember that he will never be completely independent, and someday there will be a situation in which he will need to ask for someone's help.

Positive energy that helps to improve the condition of the knee joints

So, Louise Hay names a clear psychological basis for knee diseases:

  • fear of the future and unwillingness to continue moving;
  • stubbornness bordering on pride, lack of desire to give in to other people;
  • lack of pliability, the inability to break oneself in order to look at life from a different point of view.

At the same time, in the table, the woman points out thoughts that can help a person improve his physical condition. Louise
says that it is important for a person who has deviations associated with knee joints to learn to forgive. He must discover in himself such qualities as understanding others and the ability to sympathize with them. When this person learns to perceive other people's emotions and other people's pain as his own, his attitude towards the world itself will change, and he will be able to harmonize communication with nature. The main attitude in this case should be: "I give in and give in, and everything goes well."

At the same time, one should not forget that pride is a very positive phenomenon, since it is not forbidden to be proud of the family in which a person lives, or the development of a new, interesting profession, or some special good achievement in life.

It is important for a person to learn to separate the concept of pride and pride, since the first carries positive energy, and the second - negative. And this, according to Louise Hay, is the main problem. In itself, it is not reprehensible to compare yourself with another person, but the proud person does this for his own benefit.

A person wants to present himself in a better light, and such prioritization, firstly, distorts reality, and secondly, adversely affects the physical condition of a person. As noted by doctors, the left knee joint is less prone to diseases than the right one, since we mainly rely on the right leg.

Doctors are sure that when the knee or legs in general hurt, this indicates extra pounds. However, people who study psychosomatics say that your heavy feelings and negative emotions are pressing on you, having dealt with which, you will feel significant relief and nothing will hurt.
