Railways

The main passenger route of the Trans-Siberian Railway passes through the region, as well as the railway connection between Central Russia and the northern regions of the country - the Kirov-Kotlas line (Arkhangelsk region). The total length of the railway tracks of the subject: over 1000 kilometers. Also in the region there is an industrial network of narrow-gauge roads serving peat extraction facilities.
