The Neftyanik Palace of Culture in Tyumen hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding the participants of the children's drawing contest “Water is a priceless gift of nature”, dedicated to the World Water Day (March 22).

The competition was organized by the Department of Subsoil Use and Ecology of the Tyumen Region. In total, more than 1,500 drawings of children in three age categories were submitted to the competition this year. The competition is held for the second time. In 2016, only 530 drawings were submitted to it.

In the works, the children reflected the topics of respect for water, its rational use, as well as the problems of protecting water resources. “Given the number and level of performance of competitive works, it was not easy to choose the best ones,” said Natalya Stashkova, head of the Department of Subsoil Use and Ecology of the Tyumen Region.

According to the results of the competition, 11 winners were determined in three age categories, as well as in 12 additional nominations and 7 special prizes from the partners of the competition.

Representatives of kindergartens and schools of the Tyumen region successfully performed at this competition.

Age group 3-6 years old: I place - Katya Tsegelnik, Embaevo village; II place was shared by Dasha Chernykh from Borki and Anna Vasnyanko from Yembaevo; III place - Milana Maksimova, Borki village.

Age group 7-12 years old: I place - Artyom Gotovtsev, Isetsky district; II place - Victoria Ryzhkova from the village of Borovsky and Vera Filippova from the Golyshmanovsky district;

III place - Nezhna Murtazina, Tyumen.

In the age group of 13-17 years, the miracle children from the Tyumen region did not make it through the nomination. Let's hope that next year we will conquer this "height".

The results of the competition of children's drawings "Water - a priceless gift of nature", dedicated to World Water Day on March 22, organized by the Department of Subsoil Use and Ecology of the Tyumen Region, have been summed up.

In total, more than 1,700 drawings drawn by children of three age categories participated in the competition. The competition was attended by children living in the territory of the Tyumen region at the age of 3 to 17 years, in addition, children with disabilities participated in the competition.
