Creative biographyBasicElement(Basic Element)

Basic Element is one of the most popular bands in Sweden that appeared in 1992. For themselves, they chose such a musical direction as electro-house and eurodance. The Basic Element team included Cesar and Peter, who worked in Holland and were both born in Malmo. According to the official website of the agent Basic Element, without having achieved success there, they came to Sweden to become pop stars.

The first single appeared in 1993 under the title Move Me. But the popularity of the group was brought only by their second single, which appeared in early 1994. Promise Man did not leave radio stations for a very long time and occupied high positions in various charts. Zetma participated in the recording of these first compositions, who left Basic Element after the appearance of the first album. The first album was released in 1994 - it was a resounding success and the group established itself as the best group in the style of Eurodance. When Zanet joined the Basic Element collective, the musicians began to work on their second album, which also became very successful. Today, this Swedish band has six studio albums, the last two of which appeared after some creative break.

It is good news that you can order a performance by Basic Element - this is a great band that will delight you with many great singles. By the way, the songs from the last album became better known to the mass audience and, in fact, the sixth album is the band's calling card. The single Touch You Right Now, which appeared in 2009, is especially popular.

On March 25, 1864, the Dakhovsky fort was established on the site of the Navaginsky fort. The end of Caucasian War was proclaimed at Kbaade tract on June 2, 1864, by the manifesto of Emperor Alexander II read aloud by Grand Duke Michael Nikolaevich of Russia. After the end of Caucasian War all Ubykhs and a major part of the Shapsugs, who lived on the territory of modern Sochi, were either killed in the Circassian Genocide or expelled to the Ottoman Empire. Starting in 1866 the coast was colonized by Russians, Ukrainians, Greeks, Germans and other people from inner Russia. In 1874-1891, the first Russian Orthodox church, St. Michael "s Church, was constructed, the Dakhovsky settlement was renamed Dakhovsky Posad on April 13, 1874. In February 1890, the Sochi Lighthouse was constructed. In 1896, the Dakhovsky Posad was renamed Sochi Posad and incorporated into the newly formed Black Sea Governorate . In 1900–1910, Sochi burgeoned into a sea resort; the first resort, "Kavkazskaya Riviera", opened on June 14, 1909.

The area was continuously developed until the demise of the Soviet Union. Following Russ

Due to the increased passenger traffic and aircraft landings, the airport was relocated to Anapa’s suburb, near Vityazevo village where it still operates. A new location allowed to accommodate larger aircraft such as An-10. In 1969, construction of a new military airfield with a 2,500-m runway was launched near Vityazevo, it was kept secret due to military purposes of the facility. In 1970, Vityazevo airport honors the 100,000th passenger. In April 1974, An-24 performed the first regular passenger flight to Vityazevo. In May 1974, a group of NATO military attachés went to Anapa on board the first flight Moscow - Anapa - Moscow, they oversaw the construction of the military runway, one of the longest at that time in Soviet Union. There were about 12 aerodromes in total featuring the similar runways in the country. In 1976, Vityazevo airport was opened; the new terminal could handle up to 70 daily flights originating from around 50 domestic airports. In September 1976, a twin plane crash happened above Anapa when An-24 and Yak-40 crashed because of the aircraft dispatcher’s fatal error.

The tragedy claimed 70 lives. In 1977, Tu-154s commenced flights to Vityazevo airport becoming the principal aircraft type in the fleet of Russian air carriers. A Tu-154 snapshot captured against the Anapa airport passenger terminal was reproduced on a Soviet postcard. In 1982, An-26 owned by the Black Sea Fleet Naval Air Force crashed near Anapa killing nine. In 1988, Anapa airport was separated from the 1st Krasnodar United Air Group and becomes an independent entity: a separate class-III airport under the North Caucasian Civil Aviation Authority. Upon installation of the SP-80M landing system, the aerodrome acquired an ICAO category I certificate. In 1991, the airport performed 6,828 landings serving 439,600 passengers. During summer season the airport handled up to 52 flights operating at a full capacity. In 1993, Vityazevo airport acquired the status of an international airport. Austrian Airlines became the first international airline to open a branch office in Anapa. In 2001, Siberia launched operations at Vityazevo International Airport.

Agribusiness is the business of agricultural production. The term was coined in 1957 by Davis, it includes agrichemicals, crop production, farm machinery and seed supply, as well as marketing and retail sales. All agents of the food and fiber value chain and those institutions that influence it are part of the agribusiness system. Within the agriculture industry, "agribusiness" is used as a portmanteau of agriculture and business, referring to the range of activities and disciplines encompassed by modern food production. There are academic degrees in and departments of agribusiness, agribusiness trade associations, agribusiness publications, so forth, worldwide. In the context of agribusiness management in academia, each individual element of agriculture production and distribution may be described as agribusinesses. However, the term "agribusiness" most emphasizes the "interdependence" of these various sectors within the production chain. Among critics of large-scale, vertically integrated food production, the term agribusiness is used negatively, synonymous with corporate farming.

As such, it is contrasted with smaller family-owned farms. Examples of agribusinesses include seed and agrichemical producers like, as well as other non-governmental organizations on its website. Ray A. Goldberg coined the term agribusiness together with coauthor South-South Cooperation, it served over 350,000 passengers on February 1–28, 2014. Over 2,800 tons of luggage was handled during the Olympic period; the original airfield was constructed to protect Russia "s Black Sea coast during World War II. By order of the Chief of the Office of Civil Aviation, the site became an established airport on 23 November 1945. In 1956, the first terminal building and the airstrip runway-1 were built.

35,000 passengers and 1000 tons of cargo passed through the airport in 1957. From 1960 to 1965, passenger and baggage halls, a 200-room hotel, radio navigation and landing systems were all added to the airport as passenger traffic increased; the Order of Red Banner of Labor was awarded to the airport in August 1966 for its high performance. Passenger traffic went from 902,000 embarkations in 1965 to more than 2.3 million in 1990. From its opening in 1957 to today, the airport has served more than 60 million passengers. Scheduled international departures and arrivals began in 1981; the airport expanded to include flights to the Middle East and Western Europe. The international section of Sochi "s terminal is small. President Vladimir Putin removed Sochi International Airport from the list of strategic enterprises on 3 May 2006, superseding its previous status under Decree No.1009 of 4 August 2004. Sochi International Airport was privatized in 2006 after Federal Property Fund held an auction to sell 100% shares of the airport.

"Strategy-South", a company affiliated with Basic Element group won an auction to acquire the airport for 5.5 billion rubles. The airport in Sochi became the fourth airport in southern Russia, among the ones in Krasnodar and Gelendzhik, operated by the Russian Asian Investment Company and "Airports of South". In 2007, Basic Element group established Basel Aero, a holding company that runs its airport business and operates all four airports. Sochi International Airport, under renovation, opened its doors to first passengers in 2010, it was further upgraded to meet the requirements of the International Olympic Committee as the gateway of the 22nd Olympic Winter Games. Basic Element, together with Russia "s largest bank Sberbank and Changi Airports International, operator of the Singapore airport, established a joint venture to manage airports in Krasnodar region in 2012. Under the agreement, Basic Element has 50% plus one share in the JV , Sberbank's stake is 20% minus one share while Changi Airports International holds 30%.

In 2007–2013 Basic Element spent over 14 billion rubles to the airport "s revamp. A modernized airport" s building features a 65,000-sq.m terminal with an advanced 450-m long boarding gallery adjacent to the airport, 10 boarding bridges ensuring a comfortable access to the aircraft, a 4,000-sq.m VIP Terminal with the handling capacity of 80 passengers per hour that hosted IOC delegates and other high-profile guests at the Winter Olympics. New Zealand minted coins in 2010 as part of the "Olympic capitals" collection, placed a picture of a plane taking off from the Sochi airport on the "tails" of a new silver dollar coin Sochi International Airport Russia. The airport has 440 meters of corridor space and 10 boarding bridges for boarding and deplaning passengers; the airport received extensive renovations in anticipation of the 2014 Winter Olympics. On 20 November 2006, the airport was auctioned to Oleg Deripaska "s Basic Element group for 5.5 billion roubles. Deripaska is a member of the committee organizing Sochi" s bid for the Winter Olympics.

Oleg Deripaska controls most of his assets through two companies - Jersey Basic Element Ltd and A-Finance from the British Virgin Islands

Yulia Fedorinova

Basic Element Ltd, as follows from the data of the Jersey registration chamber, was registered in September 2002. A year later it changed its name to Kanchen Energy Capital Ltd, and in August 2005 it again became Basic Element. It was at this time that Basic Element began to turn into a holding with the current structure.

An employee of one of the investment companies who saw the company's statements for 2007 told Vedomosti about the Basic Element assets. The reliability of this information was confirmed by a source close to Basic Element.

It follows from the document that at the end of 2007 Basic Element was 100% owned by A-Finance registered in the British Virgin Islands, of which Deripaska is the beneficiary. Basic Element itself directly or indirectly owns controlling stakes in companies in the machine-building sector (Russian Machines, GAZ Group, Aviakor, etc.), 46% of shares in Valtoura Holdings Ltd. (owns Rasperia Trading, which bought shares in Hochtief and Strabag). The remaining share in it is controlled by A-Finance. Also, Basic Element owns 25% of the shares of En + (the rest also belongs to A-Finance), which owns 56% of the shares of UC Rusal. And earlier Basic Element owned 20% of En + shares. The shareholder transferred another 5% of shares to Basic Element in 2007 - this was reflected as Deripaska's contribution to the authorized capital of Basic Element, estimated at $ 366 million. The financial block of Basic Element is also not included in the financial statements.

But the report discloses data on the financial performance of the Basic Element, said an employee of the investment company. Its revenues (including discontinued operations) in 2007 amounted to $ 8.446 billion, gross profit - $ 1.684 billion, Profit before tax - about $ 920 million, and net profit - about $ 740 million.

The Basic Element debt at the end of the year amounted to about $ 6.253 billion ($ 2.891 billion in long-term and $ 3.36 in short-term loans and borrowings). According to a rough estimate, the debt-to-EBITDA ratio was at least 4.5, according to Bank of Moscow analyst Yegor Fedorov. The banks had pledged a share in Magna International purchased on credit (20%, they took a two-year loan from BNP Paribas for $ 1.229 billion, was recently sold on margin calls), 67.8% of the shares of the GAZ group, 42% of Aviakor shares and 69.3% of shares of Abakanvagonmash.

Also recently, Basel was forced to sell 9.99% of Hochtief shares at margin calls. A 25% stake in Strabag was pledged to Deutsche Bank as collateral for a loan to buy securities. Recently, other shareholders in the construction company provided Basic Element 460 million euros to refinance this loan, also secured by Strabag shares. True, the reports say nothing about encumbrances on Strabag and Hochtief shares, says the source of Vedomosti.

But Deripaska pays almost no dividends from Basic Element: in 2007 they amounted to about $ 21 million.

“Since the figures given in the article can relate only to one of the companies in the group, it makes no sense to judge the financial performance of Basic Element by them. They do not reflect the whole or even a significant part of the picture, "Alexander Lukin, deputy general director for finance at Basic Element, told through the press service. Lukin declined to make any other comments. He explained this by the fact that he could not “seriously discuss papers<...>obtained from an unknown source. "

Basic Element, private investment fund
